Terms and Conditions

Introduction

  1. Carlsberg UK Limited (the "Promoter") is operating and administering the on-trade pint promotion described in more detail in the Terms and Conditions below.
  2. Please see Paragraphs 7 and 8 of the Terms and Conditions below for further details but the Promoter will release the amounts referred to in those Paragraphs to WWF-UK (registered with charity no. 1081247 in England and Wales and SC039593 in Scotland) ("WWF-UK") which WWF-UK will use to further its charitable objects. WWF-UK will have the sole ability/right to determine which WWF-UK project to allocate those funds to as WWF-UK determines is appropriate in its sole discretion.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility

  1. This promotion is open to all persons aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom, (excluding Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands), other than employees, and their immediate families, of Carlsberg UK Limited, their associated companies and anyone else professionally connected with this promotion. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose and may withhold the release of funds due to WWF-UK until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

How to Enter

  1. Applies to draught pints and half pints of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner (Product(s)) purchased from a participating outlet which is displaying the promotional material advertising this promotion (a Participating Outlet) between 13 September 2021 and 4 October 2021.
  2. The instructions provided at the point of entry form part of the terms and conditions of this promotion. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.
  3. The promotion starts at 08:00 on 13 September 2021. All qualifying purchases must be made before the promotion closes at 23:59 on 4 October 2021 (Closing Date). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for purchases of Products made after the Closing Date for any reason and/or for purchases of Products that are delayed beyond the Closing Date for any reason.
  4. Purchases of Products from Participating Outlets only. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.

Amounts to be released to WWF-UK

  1. The Promoter will give a minimum of £100,000 to WWF-UK in connection with the sale of Products in Participating Outlets, irrespective of the volume of Products sold, in total, across all Participating Outlets. For example, if 1,000,000 or less pints of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner have been sold, in total, across all Participating Outlets on the Closing Date, the Promoter will still give WWF-UK £100,000.
  2. The Promoter will give WWF-UK an additional 10p per pint of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner sold in a Participating Outlet, if, by the Closing Date, over 1,000,000 pints of Carlsberg Danish Pilsner have been sold, in total, across all Participating Outlets.

General

  1. Unless otherwise stated, any expenses incurred by you in the consumption, general use and/or enjoyment of a Product are your sole responsibility.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the promotion and / or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice and, by continuing to take part in the promotion subsequent to any revision, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to the amended terms.
  3. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify entries deemed to be non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions or if it has any reason to believe that efforts have been made to distort the spirit of the promotion. This includes any individual found to be attempting to circumvent this Paragraph by tampering with the operation of the promotion or using multiple identities. No bulk, consumer group or third party entries will be accepted. The Promoter’s decision as to any aspect of this promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  4. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  5. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
  6. This promotion and all issues arising out of it shall be governed in accordance with English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
