Since 1992, Carlsberg has been a proud partner of Liverpool FC, making it the longest standing partnership in the Premier League.

To celebrate the special season, we walked down memory lane with some of the iconic kits from the Danish brewer’s era on the front of the Liverpool FC shirt. Some iconic moments in Liverpool FC and Carlsberg's history also feature some of the most celebrated players: Ian Rush, John Barnes, Sami Hyypïa, Robbie Fowler, Jamie Carragher and Luis Garcia. Dedicated Liverpool FC fans might remember songs being sung not only at Anfield, but across the world to some of the iconic moments in time below.

Iconic moments in time

Manchester, 1992

Top scorer of all time? Probably. Legendary forward Ian Rush scores against Manchester United at Old Trafford to become the club’s greatest ever goal scorer.

Liverpool, 1998.

Steven Gerrard makes his debut against Blackburn Rovers at Anfield. The rest is history.

Istanbul, 2005.

THAT night in Istanbul. Liverpool FC lift the European Cup for the fifth time in the club’s history after coming back from 3-0 down at half time vs AC Milan.

London, 2006.

The Steven Gerrard show… again. Liverpool FC win a seventh FA Cup on penalties vs West Ham after a last minute Steven Gerrard equaliser.

Liverpool, 2015.

Jürgen Klopp is appointed the club's new manager – describing himself as ‘the normal one’.

Denmark, 2017.

Red hops for the Kop. We celebrate our 25-year anniversary by brewing a limited-edition beer with ‘red hops’ by immersing them in footage of 25 years of Liverpool FC matches and the sound of roaring fans.

Madrid, 2019.

SIX TIMES! Liverpool FC celebrate winning a sixth European Cup after beating Tottenham Hotspur.
