The Organiser of the Contest is Carlsberg Marketing Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 198501008089 (140534-M).
- Contest Period
The validity period of this Contest shall be from 14th January 2021 (8.00 a.m.) – 21st January 2021 (11.59 p.m.).
This Contest is open to all non-Muslims aged 21 years or over who are residents in Malaysia, subject to other criteria set out below, the Standard Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions herein, terms and policies determined by the Internet, social website (Facebook and Instagram), and the relevant laws of Malaysia.
Employees of the Organiser, its associate agencies, affiliates, distributors, dealers, sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
- How to participate in the Contest?
To participate in the Contest, Contestants must look through the 360° video to find and count the total number of Carlsberg Chinese New Year edition cans in the room decorated. Contestants must also share in addition to the answers what #CelebrateProsperityCheersTogether means to you in the comment section.
- Submission of entry for this Contest is through Facebook and Instagram.
- Contestant is required to complete the following steps: -
- Each Contestant must have a valid account;
- Follow and Like Carlsberg Malaysia account at [@carlsbergmy] on Facebook and Instagram.
- To participate, Contestant must submit their entry in the comment section of the Contest Post the answer of how many Carlsberg Chinese New Year edition cans are in the 360° video and state what #CelebrateProsperityCheersTogether means to you in less than 50 words;
- Include the hashtag #CarlsbergMY in your comment.
- Only one (1) entry per person is allowed on each platform.
- The Organiser shall be entitled to request the original Identity Card or the originals of other supporting documents/materials for verification purposes.
- The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and remove any Contestant from the Contest without prior notification or disclosure of information should the Contestant be suspected of tampering with their entries or breach the Contest terms and conditions.
- Winners, Prizes, and Terms and Conditions of Prizes
- The Prizes for the Contest are as follows: -
Each Winner will receive one (1) Carlsberg OXpicious Box inclusive of:
- Chinese New Year 2021 Carlsberg Danish Pilsner 320ml Can x 3
- Chinese New Year 2021 Carlsberg Smooth Draught 320ml Can x 3
- Chinese New Year 2021 Carlsberg 30cl Stemmed Glass x 2
- Ang Pau Packets x 3
- Selection of Winners
The Winner will be selected based on the following criteria: -
- A total of ten (10) Contestants from the pool of entries (Facebook and Instagram) will be selected as Winners. Ten (10) Contestants will be selected for the Winning Prize. Winners will be selected based on the correct answer as well as the creativity of their answers and the most creative answer will win the Prize.
- Each Contestant may only win one (1) Prize throughout the Contest Period.
- The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any Winning Prize with a prize of similar value, with or without notice.
- The Winning Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash credit or any other items.
- The Organiser's decision is final. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.
- The Prizes for the Contest are as follows: -
- Notification of Winners and Redemption of Prizes
- The Organiser will notify the Winners through Facebook/Instagram Messenger and Facebook/Instagram Posting.
- The Organiser shall reserve the right to select an alternative Winner if the initial selected Winner does not respond within three (3) days of being notified.
- The Organiser shall reserve the right to select an alternative Winner at its sole discretion at any time.
- The Prize will be couriered to the Winners within two (2) weeks of obtaining the Winners’ details.
By participating, Contestants explicitly consent that the Organiser shall store the necessary personal data of the Contestants. The Contestant is free to revoke his or her consent to the storage of data by sending an email to the Organiser as stated below and by doing so, the Contestant withdraws his or her participation from this Contest. The Organiser will use its best endeavours to keep all personal data stored for the purpose of this Contest strictly confidential.
- Additional Terms
- By participating, Contestants agree to the Terms and Conditions applied.
- The Organiser is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, the website, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, system, apparatus, software, failure of e-mail or receipt of entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or telecommunication services.
- The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
- The Organiser has the right to call off the contest and there will be no liability.
- The Contest Terms and the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions (collectively “Terms and Conditions”) shall be binding on all Contestants who participate in this Contest. The definitions in the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply unless otherwise expressly stated in the Contest Terms. In the event of any discrepancies between these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Promotion, the final Terms and Conditions on Carlsberg’s website shall prevail.
