Terms and Conditions


  1. Organiser
    The Organiser of the Contest is Carlsberg Marketing Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 198501008089 (140534-M).

  2. Contest Period
    The validity period of this Contest shall be from 30th October 2021 8.00 a.m. (GMT +8) – 1st November 2021 11.59 p.m. (GMT +8).

  3. Eligibility
    This Contest is open to all non-Muslims aged 21 years or over who are residents in Malaysia, subject to other criteria set out below, the Standard Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions herein, terms and policies determined by the social website (Facebook and Instagram), and the relevant laws of Malaysia.

    Employees of the Organiser, its associate agencies, affiliates, distributors, dealers, sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

  4. How to participate in the Contest?
    Contestants must share the Celebration video posting (Instagram / Facebook) from Carlsberg Malaysia’s Facebook or Carlsberg Malaysia’s Instagram account [@carlsbergmy] onto their Facebook profile or Instagram Story. Name one brand featured in the Celebration video, tag 2 friends and include hashtag #CelebrateResponsibly in the Facebook post caption or Instagram story text. Contestant’s profile has to be set as public for the shared post to be visible to the Organiser.

    1. Submission of entry for this Contest is through Facebook or Instagram.
    2. Contestant is required to complete the following steps: -
      1. Contestant must have a valid Facebook or Instagram account;
      2. Follow and like [@carlsbergmy] on Facebook or Instagram.
      3. Share the Celebration video post (Instagram / Facebook), name one brand featured in the Celebration video, Tag 2 friends and include #CelebrateResponsibly in the Facebook post caption or Instagram story text.
    3. The Organiser shall be entitled to request the original Identity Card or the originals of other supporting documents/materials for verification purposes.
    4. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and remove any Contestant from the Contest without prior notification or disclosure of information should the Contestant be suspected of tampering with their entries or breach the Contest terms and conditions.

  5. Winners, Prizes, and Terms and Conditions of Prizes
    1. The Prizes for the Contest is as follows: -
      Each Winner will receive one (1) Fizzics Draught Beer Dispenser (“Prize”).
    2. Selection of Winners
      The Winners will be selected based on the following criteria: -
      1. A total of two (2) Contestants from the pool of entries (Facebook and Instagram) with the correct answer will be selected as winners. One (1) winner will be chosen from each platform (Facebook and Instagram).
      2. Each Contestant may only win one (1) Prize throughout the Contest Period.
      3. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of similar value, with or without notice.
      4. The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash credit or any other items.
      5. The Organiser's decision is final. No further correspondence or appeal will be entertained.

  6. Notification of Winners and Redemption of Prizes
    1. The Organiser will notify the Winners through Facebook Messenger /Instagram Direct Message and Facebook/Instagram Posting.
    2. The Organiser shall reserve the right to select an alternative winner if the initial selected winner does not respond within three (3) days of being notified.
    3. The Organiser shall reserve the right to select an alternative Winner at its sole discretion at any time.
    4. The Prize will be delivered to winners within 21 working days for West Malaysia and 60 working days for East Malaysia from which the Contestant has reverted with his/her full address.

  7. Privacy Policy
    By participating, Contestants explicitly consent that the Organiser shall store the necessary personal data of the Contestant. The Contestant is free to revoke his or her consent to the storage of data by sending an email to the Organiser as stated below and by doing so, the Contestant withdraws his or her participation from this Contest. The Organiser will use its best endeavours to keep all personal data stored for the purpose of this Contest strictly confidential.

  8. Additional Terms
    1. The Contest Terms and the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions (collectively “Terms and Conditions”) shall be binding on all Contestants who participate in this Contest. The definitions in the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply unless otherwise expressly stated in the Contest Terms. In the event of any discrepancies between these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Promotion, the final Terms and Conditions on Carlsberg’s website shall prevail.
    2. By participating, Contestants agree to the Terms and Conditions applied.
    3. The Organiser is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, the website, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, system, apparatus, software, failure of e-mail or receipt of entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or telecommunication services.
    4. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
    5. The Organiser has the right to call off the Contest and there will be no liability.
    6. Should the Contestants have any inquiry regarding the Contest, he or she can request for more information via Facebook/Instagram Messenger from Monday - Friday, 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m. (GMT +8)
